Seven OPEC+ countries agreed on 4 October to retain September required production levels for November 2026. The official statement names Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria and Oman. This is a decision on production commitments, not a measurement of barrels actually produced.
This group is due to meet again on 1 November. That date refers to the seven countries in the statement and should not be confused with other OPEC+ monitoring meetings.
For readers in Spain, the news provides context on international crude supply. Keeping a required production level does not, by itself, prove that prices will rise or fall, or establish the cause of a local price movement.
Crude oil and delivered diesel are different references. For the US market, the EIA explains that diesel prices include refining, distribution and taxes as well as crude oil. This helps explain the cost chain, but US percentages and taxes cannot simply be applied to Spain.
The statement sets no price for Spanish gasóleo A, B or C and verifies no change in Repsol Energías prices, availability or delivery dates. A current quotation remains the relevant reference for a specific order.
